New Year's Eve
In with the old, out with the new. Looking past the mass alcohol consumption, and the border line insane behavior, New Year's Eve is another instance that people slow down and celebrate their existence. The forward progression of years also offers people a new beginning; a chance to correct the flaws that they have recognized over the year. However, don't limit yourself to only making positive change once a year. Just as everyday should be a celebration, everyday is also a time for self improvement. I would like to thank all of those who have enjoyed my blog over the last few months, and I wish you and your families a blessed and safe new year. As for the above photograph, it was taken this evening at a firework display in Howard County; I enjoy the faint silhouette of the trees at the bottom of the shot.
